Successful design.
Clean up the water-area on the roof of the indoor swimmingpool. Cleaning the room was not always perfect (used glasses wasn't changed, the tray for apples was not cleaned, a bit more tidying of clothes, bathroom accessories, etc would have been appreciated). A pool closer to the hotel and not shared with Eden will definitely increase the overall impression.

Unique hotel when it comes to design. Very friendly staff. Good location but a little bit far from the old town ( 20 min walk). . Good food in the hotel restaurants, and breakfast buffet. Close to the beach and to hiking areas.
Not enough sunbeds - they were all taken at 7-8 o´clock in the morning. Little bit far from the city.

Air conditioning excellent, emphasis on design evident. You can find quite some interesting design solutions in this hotel. Very minimalistic. It has a congress character.
Beds are not comfortable, pillows are too high. There were no room service available, sushi restaurant did not operate, not friendly to small kids - no baby chairs, no baby phone, no special rooms for babies to change dippers. Does not have its own external pool nor its own beach on the sea. The music from the terraces far too loud at night. The hotel does not have enough parking places, as guests have to park at the Hotel Eden, next to Lone.

Liked the fact that hotel is new, extra big beds for double room, decent spa area which is very welcome in case of bad weather. Food at a la cart restourant on zero level very good, but hope that they plan to change the menu from time to time. Service in restaurant very good. Over all it was a good experiance.
We stayed there at soft opening period so a lot was still not done, some facilities not working, only 1 a la cart restaurant with a more difficult menu, a lot of signs missing and no sauna order, but probably this is to be expected at soft opening period. The fun&sport is combined with a hotel next door "Eden" and this should be improved - renting a bike the rate is higher than localy and compared to bikes offerd at hotel Monte Mulini hope this will be imporved when regular prices will be in force (for soft opening rates I would not complain but for regular prices the expectations would be higher)

Request for a room with a balcony to enjoy fine views of nature during sunrise and sunset.

The design of the building itself the design/space/detail/facilities in the rooms themselves. A little way out of the town but the walk is easy, picturesque and right by the sea. Breakfast was excellent.
The restaurant by the outdoor pool was dismal. The service pathetic and the food poor. "Salad" was one small iceberg lettuce leave half a tomato and half an artichoke (which had to be asked for). Do not go there.

Excellent location to make the most of the fantastic city of Rovinj.
Shared pool with hotel next door. Parking was poor, again shared with next door or charged at 10 Euros/day.

All staff was excellent, helpfull and kind. Design of the hotel is rather interesting and at first somewhat striking. Rooms are modern and comfortable. Internet is working fine in the rooms, you don't get just wi-fi, but also a cable to connect to your laptop.
Where do I start? There is no free parking place for guests. Most of the cars are parked all around this and other hotelsl. There are only 30 garage spaces (for over 260 rooms) which cost 14 EUR/day. The pillows are way too soft. Laundry service prices are insane. Menu in the restaurants is the same every single day. Even the breakfast is the same every single day with the exception of one dish that is changed daily. There is no outside pool and the inside pool is quite cold. Beach near the hotel is overcrowded and not really nice. Some of the chairs near the pool are already defunkt and broken (although the hotel is open for only 2 months)... Tv channels sometimes work and sometimes don'T. Don't expect a lot of services for your money. Enjoy the design.

Outstanding design, fine and friendly staff and directorate doing their best already in a first year of hotel functioning. Finest rooms. Very good cuisine: breakfast and dinner are even better than the food you can find in good Rovinj region restaurants. Excellent gym. Territory of the hotel is also beautiful and corresponds with the Hotel design. Beautiful Hotel Lone has great future if only they will solve two key issues rapidly, especially first (see negatives).
Two key issues: 1)Beach (!) - i was many times in Croatia. This is the first time I have found such disproportion: hotel is beautiful but at present has no its own (or in terms of Croatia - equipped part of public) beach. Several kilometres of beach nearby the hotel are located in beautiful bay around forest park Zlatny Rt. Incredible view. But (!): the beach is wild in full meaning of this word. Сigarette ends, trash, dogs on the beach, limited access to conveniences (and paid). The beach looks naturally but underdeveloped - there was no beach works at all for decades. The water in bay was clean and very good but... in 2nd week of September beacons limiting swimming area were mysteriously removed. Hence there were yachts and oil (!) film on the water. Very underdeveloped area instead of good looking. No municipal activity there is visible. 2) Hotel Eden with its loud parties till the very night and contrasting with Lone state-of-art facilities swimming pool is located along Lone... The only way for Hotel Lone is to equip its own part of beach for guests in such a perfect way the Hotel constructed. And to transform swimming pool area of Eden to Lone style (as both hotels are of one network Maistra). Without it Hotel Lone looks and feels like outstanding spacecraft landed in some nice but underdeveloped and wild place.
